To help shape the digital future, you first have to understand it. And when it comes to topics like AI, robotics, and smart security systems, nothing is more enlightening than engaging in in-depth discussions with inventors, innovators, and the very people for whom the future has long been a part of everyday life. Many policymakers who bring their convictions and voices to bear on these issues have long understood this and are therefore seeking grassroots dialogue with companies in the region. While SPOT and Ms. Walsmann are already “old” acquaintances, the encounters with ARGUS, BEEHIVE and PROMOBOT premieres. Since it’s not enough just to hear or see, we gave the legal expert and vice chair of the Judiciary Committee the opportunity to get an up-close look at every single robot in Security Robotics’ portfolio and, of course, to speak at length with our team.

Time and again—whether at events like Innovation Days, on-site customer visits, or at trade shows—we see this reaction, and Ms. Walsmann also quickly recognized the potential and opportunities of AI technologies such as those developed at Security Robotics.
Just as it is the responsibility of Europe’s parliamentary representatives to determine not only which laws and regulations are needed, but also how much support and funding smart innovations require, it is the responsibility of experts such as Security Robotics to provide the necessary understanding of these issues.
