When a layperson thinks of a monitored facility—such as a logistics center—they picture fences, guarded gates, and installed cameras. As a security expert, however, you also know that the perimeter is protected by far more—and in some cases, less visible—sensor technology, and that access control systems are in place at critical points. Consultants specializing in robotic solutions will add that, in addition to fixed components and security personnel, various robotic elements will be in use—whether as patrol robots, alarm-verifying drones, or as part of reception services.
