A high-security area is a specially secured area in which particularly strict security precautions apply. This includes locations where robots are used in sensitive or critical environments, for example in the industrial manufacture of products with national security relevance or in applications that are subject to the highest data protection and security standards. In such applications, strict security guidelines must be met to ensure protection against unauthorized access, data manipulation or other security risks. KRITIS areas can contain several high-security areas.
