Gain an understanding of robotics and AI now with our certified training concepts

Security Robotics Academy

Trainings on digitalisation, AI development and robotics

“We create understanding for security & service concepts of today and tomorrow!”

With this claim and a clear task derived from it, we launched the Security Robotics Academy. We see ourselves as innovation drivers and knowledge carriers and therefore also in the duty to set decisive impulses in the topics of digitalisation, AI development and robotics, to inform, to advise and ultimately also to train in order to (further) transport our understanding and our experience with security robots.

Training courses are held in our company by experienced developers who share their knowledge from practical experience and thus first-hand in a mix of theory units and workshops. The advantage? Participants get the necessary basic knowledge and can then put into practice what they have just learned. We deliberately focus on small groups or individual training sessions so that we can be sure that what has been imparted has not only been absorbed, but also understood and that we hand out our certificates to new knowledge holders.

Currently, 3 training levels are offered, which can be completed individually or consecutively. In detail, these are:

Level 1: Certified Consultant for Robotics & IoT Solutions

Content

  • Current market situation, technically already feasible and future developments, use of robotics, human-robot-working etc.
  • Advantages of robots and new technologies compared to previous solutions and partly purely human-based safety, maintenance & service concepts.
  • Functions, technical limits/possibilities, medium and long-term development potential and range of application scenarios for customer use of robotic platforms.
  • Conveying arguments to partners, service providers and customers within the framework of a consulting activity or as a technically competent contact person for robot-assisted security, maintenance and service solutions for these groups of people.

Duration
8 lesson / 1 Day

Form of instruction
Classroom teaching theory / practice

Place
Security Robotics Academy

Participant
max. 8 Persons

Level 2: Certified user for robotics & IoT solutions

Content

  • The participant gains an understanding of the new colleague robot and is enabled to monitor and ensure the operation of software and hardware solutions under expected circumstances of use. In case of alarm or necessity, he can take over the control of the system himself. Simple incidents and unproblematic obstacles can be recognised, evaluated and solved independently without having to call in a service team from Security Robotics.
  • We provide the participant with the necessary basic theoretical knowledge and conduct practical workshops for each robot model.
  • Individual or several practical workshops can be held in conjunction with the basic module. Successful participants are entitled to expand their knowledge later with additional practical workshops

Duration
4 lesson + 4 lession for each robotmodel / 1 to 3 Days in total

Form of instruction
Classroom teaching theory / practice

Place
Security Robotics Academy

Participant
max. 4 Persons

Level 3: Certified Integrator for Robotics & IoT Solutions

Content

  • The integrator is trained in the use of the central ACUDA platform and can independently create routes, use streams, set up or connect W-LAN networks and interfaces. It does not matter whether it is existing security technology or new mobile robotics that is to be put into operation.
  • In this way, the integrator independently realises customer presentations / projects on behalf of Security Robotics. As a regional contact and technical service provider for our customers, he supports them in the areas of consulting / planning / integration / service.
  • We provide the participant with the necessary tools in several practical workshops

Duration
8 lesson basics and software / ACUDA + 8 lesson for each robotmodel / 2 to 5 Days in total

Form of instruction
Classroom teaching theory / practice

Place
Security Robotics Academy

Participant
max. 3 Persons

FAQ – Security Robotics Academy

What advantages do small training groups offer?

The conscious decision for small groups or individual training at modern academies offers a variety of advantages. The focus is on providing participants with a highly personalized learning environment. Due to the limited number of participants, each individual participant can receive more intensive care. This not only enables in-depth knowledge transfer, but also promotes an interactive exchange between the participants and the experienced trainers.

In this individual approach, participants have the opportunity to ask specific questions, contribute their own experiences and actively participate in the training process. Trainers can respond to each individual’s needs and ensure that the knowledge imparted is not just absorbed superficially, but is deeply understood.

The efficient learning process is supported by the opportunity to immediately put the knowledge learned into practice. In the practice-oriented workshops, participants can directly apply the basic theoretical knowledge and thus experience a seamless transition between theory and practice. This holistic learning approach helps participants not only accumulate knowledge, but also develop practical skills that they can use effectively in their professional activities with security and service concepts. Thus, choosing small training groups ensures that the participants are not only graduates, but also become active designers and users of the knowledge they have acquired.

In what format are training courses for security robots offered?

The training takes place in face-to-face classes that combine theory and practical elements. Small groups or individual training ensure effective knowledge transfer. This enables the participants to test the knowledge they have learned directly on the practical object, i.e. the robot on site and the software solutions, interface modules and control options used.

Do robotic system providers also offer training for IT staff?

Of course. The goal of these training courses is to prepare IT staff for integration, operations and troubleshooting. These training courses cover the technical aspects of system integration, network configuration, data processing and IT security. The goal is to prepare IT staff to work effectively with the robotic systems and to ensure smooth integration into the existing IT infrastructure.

To what extent can company management be trained in the area of autonomous safety robotics?

Robotic systems providers also provide management training to ensure effective monitoring and control. These trainings are aimed at managers and security managers and cover topics such as understanding system functions, identifying key performance indicators, effectively using analytical results and strategically integrating robotic systems into security plans. This ensures that a company’s decision-makers can utilize the technology’s full potential.

Do providers of security robots also offer training for employees?

Of course, providers of modern robotic systems also offer training courses to effectively prepare staff for the use of this technology. The training courses cover the operation of the systems, understanding safety concepts, dealing with emergencies and integrating robotic systems into existing workflows. This enables employees to make optimum use of the technology and realise its full potential.
