Security Essen: The Global Highlight of 2024<\/h3>\n

Security Messe Essen<\/strong><\/a>, the global hub of the security industry, highlighted its importance as a platform for innovation and expertise exchange in 2024. Celebrating its 50th anniversary, the event attracted more than 500 exhibitors from 36 countries. Additionally, over 20,000 trade visitors from 86 nations attended, marking a 17% increase compared to 2022. This growth underlines the renewed value of face-to-face interactions in the post-pandemic era.<\/p>\n

Leading companies such as Hekatron, Bosch, Telenot, Barox, Dahua, Hikvision, Salto, and Abus participated. Furthermore, renowned associations like the Federal Association of the Security Industry (BDSW<\/a><\/strong>), the Federal Association \u201cAlliance for Security in the Economy e.V.\u201d (AWS<\/a><\/strong>), the BHE<\/a> <\/strong>\u2013 Federal Association for Security Technology<\/a>, and the BSKI \u2013 Federal Association for the Protection of Critical Infrastructures e.V. were also present. Their involvement demonstrated the event\u2019s diversity and relevance.<\/p>\n

The increasing demand for security solutions was evident in the themed exhibition halls. System integration<\/a> and artificial intelligence<\/a> (AI) took center stage. Smart systems for monitoring, access control<\/a>, and hazard prevention were prominently displayed, showcasing the industry\u2019s future direction.<\/p>\n

Moreover, the trade fair offered an ideal platform for the Security Robotics<\/span><\/strong> team to explore state-of-the-art technologies like AI and robotics<\/span>. It provided a unique opportunity to network and interact with the key players of the security sector, gaining valuable insights.<\/p>\n

During the press conference<\/a><\/strong> on September 11, we introduced our vision, team, and the topic of networked security robotics<\/span>. One of the highlights was Mr. Henke’s presentation of the Go2 system, \u2018Paul.\u2019 His humorous robot demonstration entertained the audience and attracted significant media attention. This engaging moment quickly became a standout highlight of the event.<\/p>\n

Our CEO, Aleksej Tokarev, delivered a presentation titled \u201cAdaptability \u2013 The Power of Evolution,\u201d exploring how autonomous robots adapt to diverse security needs. His discussion, complemented by a live demonstration of the walking robot<\/a> Spot<\/a>, resonated with attendees. The interactive session led to fruitful conversations about practical applications and future innovations.<\/p>\n

Our Trade Fair: From Press Conference to Drone Show<\/h3>\n

On Monday, we set up our systems, including a drone system<\/a> and G-Fence sensors, in the outdoor area. Thanks to meticulous planning, the installation ran smoothly, ensuring we were ready for the event\u2019s opening day.<\/p>\n

Over the next four days, we engaged in numerous discussions, professional dialogues, and project meetings. Experts from sectors like automotive, logistics, production, and emergency services highlighted the urgency of modern security technologies. Our partnerships with Agility One<\/a><\/strong>, Geutebr\u00fcck<\/a><\/strong>, Dussmann<\/a> <\/strong>and Sorhea<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Live drone presentations at the European Drone Congress<\/h3>\n

A special highlight of the event was the European Drone<\/a> Congress, held alongside the trade fair. Over two days, the forum offered a diverse programme of presentations and discussion panels. Numerous companies showcased their drone<\/span> solutions, particularly in Hall 5.<\/p>\n

Rather than relying on passive product placement, we actively demonstrated the Beehive <\/a><\/strong>autonomous drone system<\/span> from Sunflower Labs<\/a><\/strong>. Each day, we organised live flight shows in the outdoor area FG2. These demonstrations showcased how drones<\/a>, in combination with networked fence sensors, can enable intelligent perimeter<\/a> surveillance.<\/p>\n

The cooperation between drones<\/span> and sensor technology<\/a> represents a significant step forward in efficiently and securely monitoring large areas. Trade visitors experienced live how drones<\/span> navigated the site, verified alarms, and forwarded data to monitoring centres<\/a> in real time. This innovative technology was especially appealing to project managers overseeing large properties and extensive production facilities.<\/p>\n
