Time and again, we talk about integrated security solutions, connectivity, and the interaction of a wide variety of security components. But what does this mean? What is the foundation that allows such an exchange to take place, so that many individual elements come together to form a greater whole\u2014one that is more than the sum of its parts? <\/p>\n

When a layperson thinks of a monitored facility\u2014such as a logistics center\u2014they picture fences, guarded gates, and installed cameras. As a security expert, however, you also know that the perimeter<\/a> is protected by far more\u2014and in some cases, less visible\u2014sensor technology, and that access control systems<\/a> are in place at critical points. Consultants specializing in robotic solutions will add that, in addition to fixed components and security personnel, various robotic elements will be in use\u2014whether as patrol robots<\/a>, alarm-verifying drones<\/a>, or as part of reception services. <\/p>\n

But no matter how extensive one\u2019s knowledge of the various components of a modern security solution may be, often only the hardware is considered, and people forget what is needed to integrate these components seamlessly.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Security Robotics develops open-system, modular platform solutions<\/h3>\n

If we take a closer look at the foundation of integrated security concepts, it becomes clear that this is not a single piece of software, but rather a platform solution of which it forms the stable core. Like the often-cited pieces of a puzzle, individual modules interlock, and multiple programs work closely together. Designed from the outset for modular operation, this approach guarantees maximum scalability\u2014meaning that no matter how high the workload becomes or how many resources are required, the system does not reach its limits and can thus support one-off projects, small projects, and very large projects alike. Depending on the requirements, n+ modules are used. <\/p>\n

For example, this enables us to normalize alarm formats, which involves collecting information from various triggers, \u201ctranslating\u201d it, reconciling it, standardizing it, and transmitting it as a single signal. Modules can display and interpret the status of all integrated IoT devices\u2014such as cameras, fence sensors, motion detectors, access sensors, security robots, etc.\u2014read data streams, and much more. <\/p>\n

In close cooperation with renowned security service providers such as the <\/span>Dussmann Group<\/a><\/strong> <\/span>and the <\/span>Ciborius Group<\/a><\/strong> <\/span>We also integrate systems into their certified control centers. In principle, we can work with any existing emergency and service control center (NSL) and, to that end, link our own platform modules with standard control center software such as <\/span>LISA by Dr. Pfau<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

We use our highly flexible software platform<\/a> for everything <\/span>robot models in the portfolio<\/strong><\/a> <\/span>during a client assignment as <\/span>RaaS<\/a><\/strong> <\/span>(Robot<\/strong> <\/span>as<\/strong> <\/span>a<\/strong> <\/span>Service<\/strong>) and <\/span>SaaS<\/strong> <\/span>(Software<\/strong> <\/span>as<\/strong> <\/span>a<\/strong> <\/span>Service<\/strong>) to enable ongoing content updates and quality improvements.<\/p>\n

As we move forward, we are focusing heavily on cost-effective and seamless integration<\/a> into existing security systems\u2014a factor that is particularly important from the customer\u2019s perspective. We are not trying to replace existing components or substitute them with robotic systems, but rather to enhance the performance and capabilities of the security solution. <\/p>\n

At our in-house test facility, advanced software features in beta can be thoroughly tested across a wide range of hardware configurations, interfaces, and use cases.<\/p>\n

At this point, we would like to explicitly point out that <\/span>offers system openness<\/strong> <\/span>and that not only is the integration<\/span> of additional activators\u2014such as other robot models, cameras, etc., as well as integration<\/span> with additional control center software, etc., is not only possible but is also considered by us at <\/span>to be crucial for the future-proof design of an integrated platform solution<\/strong> <\/span>.<\/p>\n
