Robots at the security fair in Munich
For Berlin-based Security Robotics Development & Solutions GmbH, SecurityExpo 2021 was an excellent opportunity to present its broad portfolio of robot-based security solutions. From the wheel-driven patrol robot (Partner: SMP Robotics) and the quadruped robot SPOT (Partner: Boston Dynamics) to the charming reception robot (Partner: Promobot) to the surveillance drone (Partner: Sunflower labs), the right solution is available for all areas of application and tasks. The offer is individually tailored to the customer and, in addition to central control, also offers complete transparency and measurability of the services provided. Security Robotics addresses security service providers as well as end customers from business and administration. Smart leasing and Robot-as-a-Service (RaaS) business models enable customers to get started quickly without high initial investments. In this way, the successful digitalisation of security is already becoming a reality today.
Innovation - necessity and opportunity
As every year, the international trade fair presented innovative technology and concepts for hazard prevention for industry, trade, utilities, private individuals and authorities. This time, special emphasis was placed on the areas of access control, guard control and outdoor surveillance.
Increased security requirements, cost pressure and shortage of staff are presenting the security industry with ever greater challenges. At the same time, rapid developments in data transmission, processor technology and sensor technology are enabling a huge leap in innovation. Smart security concepts involving robots and networked artificial intelligence allow a significant increase in effectiveness and efficiency. Innovation in security is therefore both, a necessity and an opportunity.
The market in Germany
The market for guard and security services in Germany is worth almost 10 billion euros. In addition, there is another 4.7 billion for professional security technology.
