Integrative platform solutions as the core of any security concept

Security Robotics develops systemoffene modular platform solutions and networks the security systems of the future

Again and again we talk about integrative security solutions, about networking, about the interaction of the most diverse security components. But what does this mean? What forms the basis for such an exchange to take place, for many things to become one big whole that is more than the sum of its parts?

Use hardware in harmony

When a layman thinks of a monitored object, e.g. a logistics company, fences, guarded gates and installed cameras come to mind. As a security expert, you also know that the perimeter is protected by far more sensors, some of which are not visible, and that access control systems operate at neuralgic points.  Consultants for robotic solutions will add that, in addition to the permanently installed components and guards, various robotic elements will be in use, whether as patrol robots, as alarm verificating drones or in the reception service.

However, no matter how great the knowledge of the various components of a modern security solution is, often only the hardware is considered and what is necessary to use it harmoniously is forgotten.

We develop system-open modular platform solutions

If we take a closer look at the basis of integrated security concepts, it becomes clear that we are not dealing with a single piece of software, but with a platform solution that forms its stable core. Like the often quoted pieces of a jigsaw puzzle, individual modules interlock and several programmes work closely together. Designed from the outset for modular operation, this approach guarantees us maximum scalability, i.e. no matter how large or small the load and how many resources are needed, the system does not reach its limits and can thus handle selective, small and support very large projects equally. Depending on the  requirements, n+ modules are used.

Examples of our work

As an example, we enable the normalisation of alarm formats, which collects the information of different activators, "translates" it, compares it, standardises it and transmits it bundled as one signal. Modules can display and interpret the status of all integrated IoT devices such as cameras, fence sensors, motion  detectors, access sensors, security robots, etc., read out data streams and much more.

In close cooperation

In close cooperation with renowned security service providers such as the Dussmann Group and the Ciborius Group, we also integrate systems into their certified control centres. In principle, we can work with any existing emergency call and service control centre (NSL) and couple our own platform modules with common control centre software such as LISA from Dr. Pfau.

We network the safety systems of the future

We use our highlyflexible software platform for all robot models in the portfolio during customer deployment as RaaS (Robot as a Service) and SaaS (Software as a Service) to enable continuous content updates and quality upgrades. For further development, we are concentrating strongly on cost-effective and problemfree integration into existing safety concepts, which is particularly important from the customer's point of view. We are not trying to replace  existing components or to replace them with robotic systems, but to increase the performance and possibilities of the safety solution.

On the in-house test site

advanced software features can be tested in beta on a wide range of hardware variants, interfaces and application scenarios.

Looking to the core together

At this point, we would like to explicitly point out that systemoffenheit and both the integration of further activators, such as other robot models, cameras, etc., as well as networking with additional control centre software, etc., is not only possible, but is seen by us as crucial for the future-proof design of an integrative platform solution.

You don't just want to install new hardware or use robots, but at the same time "bring all your systems under one hat" and use them as an efficient team?Then don't just remain on the surface any longer, but let's look together to the core of the issue of security.
